- Charges other than the service fee
- Travel within Osaka City is included in the session fee. Where travel outside Osaka City takes 30 minutes or more each way, a separate travel charge may apply. Any such amount is quoted before the shoot and charged only after you have agreed to it. Internet connection charges are the customer's responsibility.
- Payment methods
- Credit card, via a Square online payment link. Payment is taken on Square's own checkout page; we never receive or hold your card details.
- When payment is due
- Customers in Japan: payment in full when the booking is confirmed.
Customers outside Japan: for bookings within one month of the shoot date, payment in full when the booking is confirmed. For bookings more than one month before the shoot date, a retainer of ¥15,000 or 30% of the session fee — whichever is higher — is payable when the booking is confirmed, and the balance is due 10 days before the shoot.
The retainer secures the date in the calendar and is non-refundable.
- When the service is provided
- Delivered online within 3 to 7 days of you selecting the images you want.
- Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds
Cancellation and rescheduling before the day of the shoot are as follows.
Rescheduling
- I'll do my best to accommodate date changes.
- Feel free to reach out for rain, illness, or anything else.
Deposit & balance
- Booking more than a month ahead: a retainer of ¥15,000 or 30% of the session fee, whichever is higher, is due when the booking is confirmed. It secures your date and is not refundable.
- The balance is due 10 days before the shoot.
- Booking within a month of the shoot: payment in full at booking.
Cancellations
- 8 or more days before the shoot: no cancellation fee (a paid retainer is still kept)
- 7–2 days before: 50% of the session fee
- Day before / same day: 100% of the session fee
- We keep whichever is greater — your retainer, or the amount above. Never both.
We retain whichever is greater: the retainer you have paid, or the cancellation charge above. Never both. The retainer secures the date in the calendar and is not refunded on its own.
- After the shoot / after delivery
- No refund is available once the shoot has taken place.
- Validity period of an application
- A payment link we send is valid for 10 days from the date it is issued. If it expires, please contact us and we will reissue it.
