Chris, known on the streets as Kansai Snaps, is a friendly, film-obsessed photographer based at STUDIO Kurisu-san in Osaka. He shoots portraits across Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe with old lenses on Fuji bodies, chasing that warm, grainy, film-like glow.

His thing isn't stiff poses. It's real moments: the air around a person, their time, their feeling, the half-second that actually meant something. Couples, travelers, locals, vintage-clothing stories, late-night neon walks. He meets people on the street and hands them back a frame that looks like a scene from a film.
