Signature Edits · Every delivered photograph is individually finished with my signature editing style, bringing out the mood, color and character of the moment.
Solo is 1 person, Duo is 2. Each additional person is ¥5,000. Groups of 5 or more: custom quote.
Prices include tax. Winter Holiday Special prices: ¥5,000 off the regular price until 28 February 2027.
We shoot around one area on foot. The longer sessions leave time to walk somewhere nearby, which is where the range of backgrounds comes from.
Bring a second outfit if you want one. Changing is fine on any session, as long as it fits the time.

What the day actually looks like
We meet somewhere in the city and walk. Nobody gets stood in front of a landmark doing a thumbs up. I pick the light, the corners and the backgrounds, and I call out where to stand and what to do with your hands as we go. You do not have to invent anything.
You forget the camera is there
Most people stop noticing it within a few minutes. That is when the good frames start.

Within 48 hours of the shoot I send a PDF of every frame worth keeping, with my picks marked. Happy? Do nothing. Want different or extra ones? Tell me any time before I deliver.
Your finished album arrives 1–2 weeks after that PDF, ready to download.
FAQ
- Is this a good idea if it's my first time in Japan?
- Definitely. A lot of my clients are first-timers, and half the fun is exploring while we shoot. You don't need to know the city. I lead the way and handle the route.
- I'm awkward in front of a camera. Do you help with posing?
- Don't worry, I'm not into stiff posing. I'll give you something to do, like look over there, lean on that wall, or you're waiting for a taxi, and catch the natural moments in between. You need no experience whatsoever, and after a few minutes of walking and talking, most people forget the camera is there.
- What happens if it rains?
- We can reschedule, or shoot anyway. Covered arcades, cafés and neon-lit streets look great in the rain. Moving the date or the location for weather costs nothing. A change for other reasons may carry a fee depending on the situation. It's your call on the day.
- Can you recommend photo locations?
- That's my favourite part. Tell me the mood you want (historic, neon, quiet backstreets, iconic) and I'll suggest spots in Osaka, Kyoto or Nara that fit and photograph beautifully.
- Can we wear kimono?
- Yes, and it looks wonderful on camera, especially in Kyoto. Rental isn't included, but I'll point you to good rental shops and we'll build the shoot around it.
- How many photos do we get?
- 25 photos for a 45-minute session and 40 for 75 minutes. Custom shoots are planned around what you need. Every delivered photo is individually finished with my Signature Edits.
